CITAQUA is a modern traceability laboratory integrated into the ECOMARE research center at the University of Aveiro. It is strategically located within the Aveiro Maritime Port. The laboratory’s facilities are designed to support high-level research, diagnostics, and industry services. They provide dedicated spaces for sample preparation, biochemical and chemical analyses, and data processing. This infrastructure fosters interdisciplinary work, training, and collaboration with national and international partners to promote seafood traceability and sustainability.
